Lunar-C

About Lunar-C

Lunar-C was a shoot'em up game written in Blitz Basic and some 68K for the Amiga 500 budget market. Somehow it was released for the CD32 but not the A500.

The player moved from left to right over a scrolling background. There were 4 levels with a variety of different enemy craft each. Enemy craft attacked from all angles. The player had 1 life: an energy bar hat could be replenished by picking up small cannisters delivered to the player when an enemy wave was destroyed. These same cannisteres could be used, instead of recharging, to charge-up the weapons, either increasing the current weapon's power, adding new weapons and upgrading to new weapons.

Gameplay movies

There are 4 gameplay videos available, ranging from 4.9MB to 7.1MB. Occasionally the player sprite looks like it has disappeared, that's not a problem or bug. In the game when the player has collided with something it flashes on/off for a short period at 50fps, the video recording was at 25fps...
