My experiences switching to a Powerbook 17" and a Powerbook 15" from a Thinkpad T40p and Thinkpad A31!

My (our) switch started in April 2004, now it's September 2004 February 2005 June 2005 and both our Windows XP Thinkpads have been replaced with two MacOS X Powerbooks. We couldn't be happier, and now that we have completely switched to Apple it is time to wrap up the blog.
Oh no it's not! It is now April the 10th 2006 and it's been 2 years since our switch. Let's celebrate by buying a MacBook Pro!

Timing simple daily tasks, from ripping music to copying files and game frame rates. Machines used include a Powerbook 15" 1GHz G4, Powerbook 17" 1.3GHz G4, Thinkpad T40p 1.6GHz Pentium M, Thinkpad A31 1.6GHz Pentium 4M, an LG LM50 1.6GHz Centrino and now also a Powerbook 15" G4 1.5GHz!
